A patonce Cross has limbs which broaden from the centre and end in 3 pointed lobes.
INRI scroll at the top of the crucifix is an abbreviation for Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum which is translated in English to Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews (the inscription placed over Christ's head during the Crucifixion).
